Reconfirmation are no longer required for travels within
the region except for Europe, Middle-East and Australia.
Conditions
of Contract
The conditions of Contract under which your ticket is
issued are printed on the reverse side of the passenger coupon.
Except as stated therein, these conditions incorporate our
General Conditions of Carriage of Passengers and Baggage.
Reservations
and Payment
Once you have booked a seat, it must be
paid for within the time stipulated by the Royal Brunei Airlines
offices. Otherwise it will automatically be cancelled and
made available for resale.
Group
Fares
Special fares are available for passengers travelling
as a group on certain routes. For details on our group rates,
please consult your travel agent or any RBA office.
Through
Bookings
Through bookings to any point on any other carrier routes
may be made from any RBA office.
Golden
Touch Holiday Packages
Royal Brunei Airlines offer a range of Golden Touch Holidays
Packages for various destinations on the route network. Accommodation
at affordable hotels, meals and transfers to and from the
airport are available (depending on choice of destination
and package). The Brunei Darussalam Stopover is a competitively
priced special package that offers accommodation and excellent
sightseeing tours white you are in Brunei. City Delight Tours
and Golden Touch Night Tours are also available while you
transit in Brunei. Please indicate your preference when you
make your ticket reservations.

Cancellations
and Refunds
Passengers paying normal fares will be refunded in case
of cancellations and be charged a refund administration fee
of BND25. For passengers paying other than normal fares, please
check with the local RBA office or your travel agents for
details on refunds.
RBA reserves the right to refund only to the
person who originally paid for the ticket. RBA also reserves
the right to refuse refund when application is made later
than 30 days after the expiry date of the ticket.
Meals
and Refreshments
Complimentary meals or refreshments are served on all
RBA flights. Salt-free, seafood, Oriental, vegetarian, children's
and babies' and various medical diets are available upon request.
Please note that at least 24 hours is required for all those
meals.
Seating
Allocation of seats will be subject to availability. Specific seat selection is available at the time of booking for holders of Business Class tickets.
Non-Smoking
Flights
All Royal Brunei Airlines international and regional routes
are exclusively non-smoking flights.
Alcohol-free environment policy
Royal Brunei Airlines operates alcohol-free flights to all destinations.
Airport
Check-ln Times
Please arrive at the town terminal or airport in good time
as this will help ensure that your flight operates on schedule.
Please check local road conditions to avoid possible delay.
To enable pre-flight formalities to be concluded, please check-in
at the Airport office at proper check-in times before the
scheduled departure.

Children paying 50% fares will be given the
same baggage allowances as adults flying in the same class.
For infants paying 10% fare there is no free allowance. However,
a carry cot and infants' food for consumption in-flight may
be carried without charge. All excess will be charged at the
applicable rate.
Cabin

Passengers are requested to restrict carry-on baggage to the
following items: briefcase/handbag, umbrella, coat, duty free
items. At many airports including Bandar Seri Begawan, a cabin
baggage for each passenger cannot measure more than 56cm (22")
x 36cm (14") x 23cm (9").

Restrictions
The following articles shall not be carried in your baggage:
Explosives (fireworks, flares, toy gun): flammable or non-flammable
gas (aerosols including aerosol paints, filled-aqualung cylinders,
carbon dioxide cylinders for soda syphons, butane gas cylinders
lighter refills): deeply refrigerated gas (liquid nitrogen):
flammable liquids (paints, thinners, solvents): flammable
solids (Fire lighters, strike anywhere matches): oxidising
materials (bleaches): organic peroxides (resin kits): poisons
(arsenic, cyanide weed killer, tear gas): infectious substances
(viruses, bacteria). Radioactive material (instruments containing
radioactive source radioisotopes for research); corrosive
materials (acids, alkalis, metallic mercury, wet cell batteries,
thermometers containing mercury, barometers).
Security procedures require restricted articles
such as penknives, letter openers, scissors, toy guns, etc,
to be retrieved from your hand baggage prior departure. To
avoid inconvenience, passengers are advised to pack such articles
in their checked baggage.
Carriage
of Live Animals
Pets and any other live animals are not permitted as checked
baggage or/and hand baggage on all Royal Brunei flights but
can be checked in as manifested cargo. Full details are available
from any RBA office..
Facilities
for Infants
Bassinets, baby food, diapers and bottles are available
upon request. Baby facilities should be requested for at the
time of bookings.
Carriage
of Sick and Incapacitated Passengers
No prior medical clearance is required for any incapacitated
passengers unless the carrier in contact with passenger decides
otherwise, or is specifically instructed otherwise by any
of the participating carriers.
However, the following passengers must obtain
medical certificate of fitness if the carrier has received
information that any passenger:-
a. suffers from any disease which is believed
to be actively contagious or communications; or
b. who because of certain disease; or incapacitation
may have developed an unusual behaviour or physical condition
which could have an adverse effect on the welfare and comfort
of other passengers and/or crew members; or
c. can be considered to be potential hazard
to the safety of the flight or the punctuality thereof (including
the possibility of a diversion of the flight and unscheduled
landing); or
d. would require medical attention and / or
special equipment to maintain their health during flight;
or
e. might have their medical condition aggravated
during or because of the flight.
