ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All nationals unless otherwise stated, may enter without visas for maximum of two months tourist visit provided they have valid passports with at least six months remaining validity. Passports issued by Israel and South Africa are not recognised by the Indonesian authorities. Children of holders of a re-entry permit, even if included on parents' passport must hold a separate visa where required. POINTS OF INTEREST - the provincial capital of East Java, Surabaya (“Sura”-shark and “baya”-crocodile) is second in size, population and commerce to Jakarta. Among the things you can do are:
* see the Heroes’ Monument or visit its Zoo and Kayoon Park or the Kenjeran Beach Recreational Park. Otherwise you can experience its splendid shopping complexes - the Tunjungan Plaza, Surabaya Plaza, Galaxy Mall, Jembatan Merah, Pasar Atum or Pasar Turi.
* cross the Madura Strait, half an hour by ferry from Surabaya, to the island of Madura famous for its unique bull races.
* also as a gateway to many places of attraction such as the famous Mt. Bromo to experience the sun-rise, Malang, Tretes and many others.
