DESCRIPTION:

This full-day tour will take you into the geographical centre of Brunei where we will proceed through scenic countryside using the “old route” to Tutong town. Our first stop will be the Forestry Museum at the Sungai Liang Forest Reserve and Research Centre where you will be able to see the diversity of flora and fauna that inhibits Brunei’s rainforest. Proceed along Labi road towards the LuaganLalak Recreational Park, a rare and interesting place that features an alluvial freshwater swamp or empran.

Visit the Labi longhouse, a unique dwelling of the Iban tribe formed in Borneo. A village under one roof, the longhouse consists of a long row of family houses with a communal area running the length of the building. Have tea with the residents and enjoy yourself as they perform a cultural dance. Take a 20 minute trek to the Wasai Wong Kadir waterfall, which is surrounded by rainforest, and enjoy a picnic lunch or just relax and swim.
