09 Oct 2007 Vaccination Certificate for Hajj Passenger to enter Saudi Arabia
   
 

During the Hajj period from 11th November 2007 until 24th January 2008, and in compliance with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requirements, all Hajj Passengers are required to have their vaccination (Meningitis) certificate attached to their passport.

  As of the 31st of March 2007, the Australian Department of Transportation and Regional Services shall introduce enhanced security measures to limit the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels that can be taken through the screening point at airports for international flights.

22 November 2006 Duty Free Risk for Europe-bound Air Travellers
   
  Under new European Union (EU) regulations effective from November 6, 2006, passengers on flights from non-EU airports transferring at an EU airport will have any liquids, pastes and gels in containers over 100 ml confiscated at the security checkpoint. Full EU press release.

22 November 2006 Aviation security:  the EU acts against new threats from liquid explosives
   
  The European Commission adopted a regulation restricting the liquids that passengers can carry past screening points and then onto aircraft. This comes as a reaction to another threat to civil aviation security stemming from home made liquid explosives.
