Vietnam Embassy advises Temporary Suspension Visa Issuance

The Vietnam Embassy in Brunei Darussalam has advised on the temporary suspension of visa issuance to intending travelers into Vietnam from 25th October to 25th November 2006. This is in view of the upcoming APEC Summit Meeting to be held in the country.

Travelers who still want to visit Vietnam during the mentioned period should apply for the visa through their counter-parts or organizations they deal with that are located in Vietnam enclosing all information usually required for visa applications. Their counterparts can then apply directly to the Immigration Department of Vietnam who in turn will advise the Vietnam Embassy in Brunei Darussalam to issue visa for visitors upon approval.

The Embassy, through their contact, has also offered to introduce intending travelers to the following Vietnamese Tourist Company that helps to arrange tours in Vietnam during the APEC Summit Meeting, if necessary:

The Hanoi Tourist Service Company Branch in Ho Chi Minh City:

FAX : 00-848-9203197
