Safety First With Royal Brunei Airlines

30th December 2009, a passenger on a Royal Brunei Airlines flight BI071 from Brisbane to Auckland was escorted off the aircraft when it was reported that the passenger had threatened staff with a bomb.
A spokesperson from the company said ¿Royal Brunei Airlines will not tolerate behaviour that may interfere with the safety of its aircraft, passengers and crew. We will continue to be vigilant and ensure the travelling public that safety is at the forefront of
our business¿.
It was reported that the passenger was very apologetic to the staff and ground crew on the occurrence of the incident.
