How do I book a car at flyroyalbrunei.com?
There are two ways to book a car at flyroyalbrunei.com.
- Car only
- From the flyroyalbrunei.com homepage, select the 'Cars' tab.
- Flight and Car
- If you are booking a flight, you can add a car to your booking during the flight booking process.
Can I cancel my car booking at flyroyalbrunei.com?
- To cancel your car booking, you are required to contact the car provider directly. Please refer to the tables below:

How can I add a car seat or other special requests to my car booking?
- You need to contact the car provider directly for special requests such as a child seat. Please refer to the contacts table above or simply refer to the car provider’s website:

How can I contact the car provider to book my car directly?

Can I change my car booking at flyroyalbrunei.com?
- Changes to car bookings cannot be made on flyroyalbrunei.com. To make changes to your booking you will need to contact the car provider directly. Their contact details are provided as above and in the booking confirmation or you may click on the links below:
Can I view my car booking at flyroyalbrunei.com?
- Yes. You would be able to view your booking by selecting the ‘View Booking’ tab at flyroyalbrunei.com.
How do I select the exact car pick-up and drop-off location within my selected city?
- From the Cars page, go to your top right and click on ‘Modify Your Search’. You may then select the airport/city you want to pick up and drop off your car.
When will I be charged for my car booking?
- Car payment is required by the car provider upon pick-up in the currency of your pick-up location. For example, if you have booked a car for pick-up in London, you will need to pay in pounds when you pick up your car.
I have added car hire to my flight booking. How do I pay for my car?
- As per the above, payment for all car hire booked at flyroyalbrunei.com is required upon car pick-up in the currency of your pick-up location. For example, if you have booked a car for pick-up in London, you will need to pay in pounds when you pick up your car.
How will I receive my travel documents?
- Your documentation for your flights is e-mailed to you at the email address you provided upon making your booking.
- If you have booked car hire for your trip, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
What information do I need when I collect my car?
- When you collect your car, please provide:
- Your reservation confirmation number,
- Your driving license together with an International Driving Permit (if required),
- Driver’s passport, and
- A valid credit card in driver’s name for payment.

I selected a specific car provider and no availability was displayed, however availability for another car provider was. Why was that?
- This happens when the car provider that you nominated does not operate in the pick-up location you have selected however another car provider does. We have displayed the car options for that car provider as an alternative.
Which car provider companies can I book at flyroyalbrunei.com?
- Our preferred car providers are Avis and Hertz.

When I book a flight, the ‘Confirmation’ page looks different. Why is this?
- As we have added a new section to the booking process where you can add car hire to your booking, we have made some changes to the pages in the booking process.
Why are there no cars available for my search?
- Cars may be unavailable due to:
- The location you have selected may not have any cars available for the dates you have selected, or
- The car provider you have nominated does not operate in this location.
- If this happens, try to amend your location, pick-up date or car provider and try again.
Is there a cancellation fee if I cancel my car booking?
- Cancellation penalties vary depending on the car provider and pick-up location. You can view the cancellation penalties under ‘price details’ before you confirm your car booking.
Is car insurance included in the rental price?
- Car insurance is not included in the car hire rates, however, you can purchase rental car insurance directly from the car provider upon collecting your car.
I forgot to add my Royal Skies number when I booked my car. How can I add this to my booking?
- You can contact the car provider directly or you can tell them when you pick up your car. Please present your Royal Skies card upon car collection.

Can I add a car to my existing flight booking?
- Car hire may only be made during the process of your flight booking. On your flight confirmation page, you can click on ‘Rent a Car’ to add car hire to your booking.
- You can also (only) book a car from flyroyalbrunei.com by selecting the ‘Cars’ tab.
What information do I need to give the car provider if I need to make any changes to my car booking?
- You would need to provide the car provider with your confirmation number. This information is included in the confirmation e-mail sent to you after your booking has been made.
Can I earn Royal Skies miles when I rent a car?
- Yes, you can earn Royal Skies Miles:
- If you have selected Avis, please provide your Royal Skies number at the pick-up collection.
- If you have selected Hertz, please enter your Royal Skies number during the ‘Traveller’ details page.
Can I rent a car by using Royal Skies miles?
- Royal Skies Miles are not eligible as payment for car rental. Payment may only be made upon pick-up in the currency of your pick-up location.
