Royal Brunei Airlines Launches New Internet Booking Engine with Technology Partner Amadeus

Royal Brunei Airlines (“RBA”), the national carrier of Brunei Darussalam, today launched their New Generation Technology Suite with the implementation of the Amadeus Altéa Customer Management Solution and Amadeus e-Retail Internet booking engine
The launch was officiated by the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdullah bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Minister of Communications.
In addition, Royal Brunei Airlines recently implemented the Amadeus e-Retail internet booking engine and Amadeus e-Merchandise low fare calendar shopping solution to power online sales through its website with an enhanced online consumer experience.
The Altéa suite will provide Royal Brunei Airlines with next-generation technology to enable it to remain competitive, both regionally and globally, and will equip the airline with the tools needed to improve business efficiency and performance, including reducing waiting times at airports and improving customer service.

Royal Brunei Airlines’ migration to the Altéa suite is expected to be completed by late 2012.
