AIRCRAFT MECHANIC SCHEME
Royal Brunei Airlines, with the full support of His Majesty’s Government through the Scholarship and Welfare Unit, Ministry of Education is inviting applications from suitable candidates for Engineering Mechanic Training. Successful candidates will be employed by Royal Brunei Airlines as Non Certifying Aircraft Mechanics.
REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be:
- Single and Citizen of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
- Minimum age between 18 to 25 years.
- Obtain a PND in Engineering with a good command in English (verbal and written), preferably completed ‘O’ level qualifications and those will also be considered.
- Physically and mentally fit and have good eyesight [not color blind], and pass a security vetting for issuance of airport passe
TRAINING and CAREER PROGRESSION:
After familiarization with Royal Brunei Airlines Engineering Department, successful applicants will undertake 09 months of theoretical airline fundamental with Maktab Teknik Sultan Saiful Rijal [MTSSR] and 03 months On-the-Job [OJT] training with Royal Brunei Airlines Sdn Bhd. Upon successful completion, graduates will be expected to gain further skills and experience on Royal Brunei Airlines aircraft types and will attend courses on Boeing and Airbus type aircrafts as required and will be required to serve a service bond.
